FOUNDER: Alix Nassiri

Prior to launching the ALIX Gallery & Creativity Collective, Dr Alix Nassiri maintained an appreciation for the cathartic and healing power of art as a well-known physician in Los Angeles and Palm Springs, who has long provided care to those in the public eye and creative arts. He is equally an art enthusiast, collector and proponent of advancing the culture of art and its larger implications. Among his most groundbreaking clinical work, is the retreat-based creative enhancement center (TELOS) that he launched in Palm Springs several years ago, to help creative and innovative individuals move past their creative blocks and expand their visual and auditory realms through an intensive neuro-psychodynamic regimen. Dr Alix was also the first physician in Southern California to institute IV Ketamine Infusion treatment and psychedelic psycho-therapy for patients that were suffering with severe and refractory mental health issues, allowing him to dive in to the deepest corners of the brain.

His highly sought after approach to the complexities of the mind, utilizes a unique style of “narrative medicine” which entails a mix of anthropologic, sociologic, psychologic, epigenetic and literary and visual elements that are utilized to help create cohesive narratives of the psyche. His unique take into the journey of the mind has allowed him to see and appreciate art from a deeper analytic lens, and hold a wider frame from the vantage point of the vastness of the human psyche and experience.

The ALIX Gallery is not just a venue to show-case renowned and emergent art, but also serves to provide artistic direction, consultancy and creativity enhancement for those seeking to expand their creativity, their art collection or develop a brand or product that requires artistic vision and direction. By working through a psychologically dynamic lens and understanding trauma and the blockade it creates, one can utilize art, cohesive narratives and neuroscience to understand one’s own mind and break the realm past stagnation, moving into the peak of creativity. The ALIX Gallery represents this underlying concept.
